Manchego al Romero- Rosemary Manchego


Made with pasteurized Manchega sheep’s milk and aged for 10 months, this cheese is covered with rosemary before it is aged. The rosemary flavors are absorbed into the cheese as it cures in the cave. An interesting variation to traditional Manchegos.


Origin: Castilla- La Mancha


Tasting Notes: The first thing you notice of this cheese is a pleasant aroma of fresh rosemary. The flavors of sheep’s milk blends with the rosemary making a perfect blend. It is a bit dry in texture and slightly nutty and piquant.
