Anfele If you don't like strong sea flavors, this would be the boqueron for you to try. Anfele fishermen freeze these fish at sea and then bring them in to the plant to be processed into boquerones. This makes their flavor milder and their texture sturdier making them easier to manipulate. They must be kept refrigerated.
