Anfele
Boquerones en vinagre y aceite

These are marinated white anchovies. Anfele brand sells very well in our market. They are ideal to add on salads or canapes.

If you don't like strong sea flavors, this would be the boqueron for you to try. Anfele fishermen freeze these fish at sea and then bring them in to the plant to be processed into boquerones. This makes their flavor milder and their texture sturdier making them easier to manipulate.

They must be kept refrigerated. These will keep for a long time as long as they remain immersed in olive oil. Each of these tubs brings roughtly about 25-30 little boquerones.
