Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Spain
As the world largest producer of olive oil it is not surprising to be overwhelmed by the variety available at our boutique. All of the oils featured here are made by small producers who are artisans at their craft. Like a great bottle of wine, each one is totally different, complex and interesting in its own way.
Come in and select your favorite at our olive oil tasting counter. Spain is the largest olive oil producer in the world. Our bottles may not be as fancy, but we know that what is inside each container is "liquid gold" for our health. Extra virgin olive oil provides the best touch to the most sophisticated dish we can create.
We select top quality oils that have either denomination of origin seals, are organic, or are estate bottled by family producers. All of these selections are extra virgin olive oils with a lot of flavor. Some are monovarietals, unfiltered, or exceptional coupage blends. Most are finishing oils- but if you look for bargains and want an all purpose extra virgin olive oil try our Despaña Brand blend packed in 5 liter pet containers. All of these represent our top recommendations.
Our wide selection of aged vinegars are perfectly appropriate for marinating meats, to add a special touch to a salad dressing or as a finishing drizzle over your favorite recipe. We have recently added a vinegar reduction of grapes from Andalucia called "Arrope", dense and sweet.
